As we stand just 3 days away from the motion proceedings, the Gale family is grateful to share some positive news. For three and a half long years, Captain Gale has been under the control of commanders at the 552d TRSS, some of which have been allegedly influenced by the 72nd JAG, all in the name of maintaining a certain perception. Despite Captain Gale’s repeated requests for help and a chance to transfer (PCA) to the 966th AACS—a move that would allowed him to continue growing as an officer—leadership consistently refused. That is, until yesterday, when someone finally made the right call.
Colonel James Ord, the new commander of the 552d TRG, in his first months on the job, has done what previous leadership would not: he approved the PCA for Captain Gale to transfer to the 966th AACS. We are proud of you, Colonel Ord, for doing what others did not have the courage to do. While the family still faces the challenge of a looming court martial, this is a significant and hopeful sign—proof that there is still good leadership at Tinker.
Now, let’s discuss the recent developments. In the last two weeks, Captain Gale has received three offers to avoid Court Martial - two Article 15s and one Letter of Reprimand, all with the condition that the sexual assault charges would be dropped. This comes after Captain Gale already refused two Article 15s presented by Colonel Coyle in March and April of 2022. Throughout the past three and a half years there have been a total of (4) Article 15s refused and (1) offer for the Letter of Reprimand with BOI for General Discharge. However, these deals guarantee one thing—his career would be ended if he accepted. What JAG and command fail to see is the message these offers send after three and a half years: "You don’t drop sexual assault charges if they were legitimate all along."
“This screams that something went wrong, that someone dropped the ball, and now refuses to admit a mistake,” said a Gale family member. “Normally, lesser charges are dropped. Not the case here, which has us all wondering why.” These new offers appear to validate what the Gale family has been saying from the start: JAG and command escalated these charges only after Captain Gale refused their previous (2) Article 15s. Despite allegations of Unlawful Command Influence, JAG and command pushed forward. And now, years later, they’re suddenly willing to drop the charges?
Confused? In disbelief? Welcome to the Gale family.
As we head into next week (September 9th-13th), we expect motion hearings that will shape the coming court martial. People will be questioned, and the stage will be set. To what extent? That remains to be seen, which is why it’s crucial for the public to attend and witness it for themselves. Make your own judgement. Rest assured, the Gale family will report daily on what transpires. No stone will be left unturned. Names and testimonies will come to light, and whether JAG truly has a case will be exposed.
Justice 4 Juan Gale (J4JG) has faced an unbelievable amount of suppression in the case, from Tinker and Airmen NCO pages blocking family members from their social media pages to prevent them from speaking out about this, to Meta rejecting Facebook posts for unfounded reasons and later approving them, etc. Only recently, are people coming around to realize that this case was manipulated from the start. “It’s scary to think that this could happen to your husband and father of your child,” said an anonymous Tinker spouse. “We’ve been led to believe that Juan was the issue, but after seeing these offers in the past few days, we’re seeing that we were misled by people we trusted.”
The Gale family has had an overwhelming amount of support since going public, with service members reaching out in support of Juan, providing testimonies of their experience working with him, the 552 TRG and Tinker, offering words of support, and even offering free legal representation. “We thank you all from the bottom of our hearts,” said the Gale family. “The support you all have provided has been overwhelming, providing a source of strength to keep fighting.”
The Gale family continues to plead for prayers for all parties involved - for Captain Gale and his legal team, the Judge, the prosecution team, accusers and the jury, that they have hearts that seek justice and clear minds that seek the truth.
We’re excited to see Captain Gale’s legal team in action—described by the family as not only "blessings", but the most impressive civilian military attorney in the country, along with the only honest Air Force attorney they’ve witnessed. The truth will rise and together, we will see justice prevail.
If you’d like to attend, you’ll need a Military Common Access Card (CAC), an escort on base, or you can visit the Tinker AFB Visitor Center (S Air Depot Blvd, Oklahoma City, OK 73145) to get a pass in just a few minutes.
